Looks like the stock football cover fits over it is that right?Is it an open filter intake or does it go inside the stock air box?

 

The stock cover does go over this intake kit. This is an open filter intake that comes with a different backing plate, the stock black air box is discarded.

 

Just in case I didn't want to use the stock cover do you know if any others will fit?

 

I honestly don't know of any other covers that would fit this kit.

 

My buddy has this exact one. He has the insert for the football cover (The one with the screw in the center) on it and looks pretty good. Bump it up.

 

I was curious if those worked or not, thanks for the info on those inserts.
