I will offer these up as loaner tools for anyone needing them. Contact me if anyone is interested for details. I am not intending to break any rules on this forum only to provide members to use without the high cost as these are pretty much a one time use for most of us.
If any moderators come across this listing may I suggest a sticky for this very purpose of these one time high cost tools that members that are willing to rent/loan out could list. Not sure if this has been tried and/or what the outcome was?
If this is breaking any rules I will take the listing down once notified.

My vision here would be to ask for full payment of the tool via paypal upfront. Ship the tool and expect a two week or quicker turnaround. If the tool is returned complete without anything damaged or missing. Then I would return the deposit less a shipping and small rental fee. If the tool is not returned, damaged or missing parts. Then the tool will now belong to the member that last asked for it.

I was intending this to be more a service for fellow members than any real profits but sure do not care to go through the trouble for nothing. So I was thinking $10 should cover most all shipping if I use USPS and then a cost of $30 for the installation tool and for the puller. So the member that needs these would paypal a total of $300, then the tools would be shipped and returned within a reasonable period which should be under a week or so I would think. Once all the tools check out and complete $260 would be returned vis paypal. So total cost for use would be $40 plus the return shipping after the member is done with the install. If these tools were returned incomplete or damaged the specific tool would then be returned to that member who would now be the new owner.
Prices fair?? What do you guys think???

Sounds fair to those who can afford to out the $300 up. if I had the $ I would probably just buy them outright but I'm still trying to scrape together enough to do the project in the first place. I see that you would get the best end of the deal in that you loan it a few times and it will pay for itself. Can't say I wouldn't do it any different tho.
