When I look on HDs site for a 2013 Road Glide, it shows a 29253-08B, not the -08A

What's the difference?

 

Don't know, all I can tell you is, the box states 08 and later...

 

Believe the difference is one is black and one chrome.

 

As far as i can tell the 08A has been discontiued and is not sold in stores anymore. The 08B supersedes the 08A. They were both chrome.

The "B" includes thread locker and has an -08A filter element as opposed to the -08 filter. Here's the instruction sheet for the "A" and then the "B"
