need a little advice...I am blacking out my 2012 street glide and while I have the front end off, was thinking of changing the bars to something a little taller. I do not want bars above the fairing, I want something similar to stock, just a little taller. Can anyone tell me what height bars I can put on the street glide without having to change cables and wires?

Wrong forum, but I'll give you an answer.
I put a set of Wild Ones 575s in black on my 2010 SG.
I had to re-route the clutch cable inside the fairing, but didn't have to change any wiring or cables.
I capped them off with a set of black Kury Iso grips.

you can go up to a 10" bar without doing anything to make it work. I am looking at doing the same thing this winter.
