will it fit a 2011 flhx? and how does it mount since the seat seems shorter than the stock with passenger pillion?

 

I'm 6' will it push me up closer to the tanks? down is OK.up is no good

BrownSanta, per the Danny Gray website, yes, it will fit a 2011 flhx. As far as mounting, the "T" shaped bracket in the picture mounts onto the two bolts in the rear fender currently under your seat. That presents the single bolt pointing up from the fender that goes through the metal tab on the back of the seat and it is fastened with an acorn nut. That's how the seat is bolted on.

South Jersey, at 6', not the seat for you. It is designed for shorter riders that want to be moved forward and down.
