This will fit the '08 models. The frame changed in '09. I bought my chopped pak from Chicago HD, with the 20% off, and it alone was more than that, plus I had to buy the lock-kit, detach kit, etc. The spoiler kit is about $200 by itself, IIRC.

This is a smokin' deal, someone is going to be a happy rider!

Thanks for that, Wanna Ride.

On top of that, I do have the lock set somewhere and will include that with the pak.

Also, I've had some offers, but everything I've got to stay at the prices I'm at now. I'd love to have the money to put towards paint. But if I can't get what I'm asking, I think I'm just gonna take the tour pak to the painter as well and just keep it.

People have made offers on just the tour pak alone, and I've decided I'd take $425 shipped for the pak, lid, hinges, and lock/key set.

$600 gets you everything in the listing.

If nobody pops, I'm gonna take it to the painter Friday.

Thumbs up

I'm giving you a bump thou I can't believe you should need it...at this point you have had almost 1,600 hits,,, WTF... Nice box with options,,,The only thing I think you might of done is put it back together to show what it is....that would show how nice it would look as a unit.
Really at that price even a rattle can would make it a nice box for touring..maybe not a show piece but what the heck we all know that these boxes get more damage ( scrapes/scratches ) than any other storage unit on our bikes. anybody search eBay lately and see what dammaged boxes are going for!!!
The only thing it needs is a pad,,,should be able to get one for $100 used.
Come on guys buy this friggin pac...if OP is true to his word on condition,,how can you go wrong!,,,
Touring season is here....Do it in style...
Good Luck with sale....
(Guys reading this, if I am missing something here please shoot me a PM and tell me what it is :-)
)
I have to add that HDFORUM is a tough crowd.... if you would of listed somewhere else I think it would be gone.... JMHO,,,, :-)

That's a quality bump for sure, riteway. I'm kinda surprised it hasn't sold myself. I've quite a few lowball offers, and a couple that were close to my number. Maybe if I was asking $800 I would have gotten my number by now. I think with the components and the powder work its a great deal. I think you're probably right though, if I slapped it all together and "presented" it, it might sell better.

But anyways, here's where I'm at; I'm gonna take it to the painter with the rest of my stuff. Gonna get the lid all cleaned up, paint every thing, install all the pieces/hardware, then make a new thread and ask for $700. If it doesnt sell after a couple of weeks, then I guess I'm just destined to keep it.
