Progressive 940's With 130/90 Springs
That's 90/130 (versus 130/90) Springs.
I have a set of USED Progressive Ultra Touring 940 Shocks (940-4020UT) for a Harley touring bike.
General Description:
I had these installed on a 2004 Road King Custom. I believe they'll fit Touring bikes from 1999 through 2007. Please confirm these will fit your bike before purchase. These are sold as/is, other than I guarantee them to be in good shape without leaks, or major structural flaws.
These have had the 'standard' (lighter) 90/130 springs installed by Progressive. (They could have the heavier weight springs re-installed by Progressive. I believe the charge would be around 50 to 60 dollars, depending upon your location (shipping).)
There are between 7k and 10k miles on the shocks (the rule-of-thumb I'm aware of is shocks are generally good for up to 50K miles before needing to be rebuilt).
Price:
I am selling these for $325 which will include UPS Ground shipping to the CONUS. I'm sorry, but I won't ship these out of the CONUS, due to cost.
Condition:
The shocks are in very good condition. There are incidental small knicks (one or two); I made a felt-tip pen mark on each adjuster (to keep track of turns). There are absolutely NO leaks. The shocks' performance is 'as new'.
These are a nice upgrade to the stock air-bags on a touring bike, and will ride much better than those (in my opinion). I am selling these because I purchased Ohlins shocks, which worked out well for me.
The installation instructions are available from Progressive (online), or I can e-mail an e-copy to you. (Pretty straightforward swap).
This sale includes the two (2) 940 Ultra Touring shocks ONLY. (What you see is what you get).
Payment via PayPal by your Verified account, shipped to your Confirmed address. (No exceptions please). I have a verified/business PayPal account. (If you don't have a PayPal account, contact me to work out an alternate payment method).
If you have any questions, please reply here, or via a PM.
Thanks,
Alan

1sweetGlide08, I responded to your PM. Let me know if you have any additional questions, i.e., I'm 215# and never ride 2-up. The shocks bottomed-out on me only on the most severe dips. I'd often go places and they'd never bottom out on those particular roads.
I could adjust the shocks (more preload) and never bottom-out, but when I did so the ride got a little too stiff for my liking.
The Ohlins I purchased (3-3s) are a bit longer I believe, and have more adjustability (rebound damping in addition to preload). They also use a different technology than the Progressives. The only downside, if you consider it that, to the Ohlins is their cost. And I understand the 2-x models are pretty competitive with the Progressives.
