Default 2010 + FLH header pipe professionally de-catted

This is a stock OEM header pipe off of a 2010 FLH with 12mm O2 sensors. The catalyst has been fully removed after being opened. It was re-welded with stainless bead at an existing seam so it looks unmodified. $250.00 plus shipping. I can be reached directly at copout@me.com if anyone is interested.

This is just for the header pipe. No heat shields are included. Add $100.00 if the heat shields are needed.

I also have a pair of V&H high output slip ons that will easily work with this pipe if interested.

Question

I am wondering how much performance increase did you get?
How much extra noise if any? Stock mufflers look way restrictive to me.

Default

I never used this pipe since I installed the V&H power duals header before it was finished being modified. I have several friends who run the stock header (de-catted) with free flowing slip on's and love the results. The main advantage is the reduction of heat besides the reduction of the high restriction at the collector. If the header is the only thing changed the sound won't increase much. If the mufflers are changed or modified that will result in the sound output.
