If someone is on the fence about whether their not sure they will like the look of it once installed and worried about drilling holes in the fairing, do what I did. I used double sided sick tape to see if I liked the look. If I decided to keep it I was going to drill holes then but it hasn't moved in 5,000 miles and still feels secure. I'm not going to drill. I think it enhances the inner fairing. Just my 2 cents.
