All Harley Factory parts or ebay aftermarket parts?

appears to be all Harley. quality is to good for aftermarket. I've picked up the parts from other members and friends that ride. Many friends of mine have Ultras and this tour pak looks exactly like their stock ones

 

inside the box you should find 2 dated stamps, one in bottom and one on top,They are there as part goes thru manu.process and It helps Hd track if any problems with mold.someone might of taken them off but its a PITA.

The inside is lined w fabric. Can't see any stamps. Yes that would be a the price shipped. I'm located in the Seattle area

 

Does the liner pull out?
If you can show a clear picture of the bottom then it might be a good way to tell if it is an factory HD or aftermarket tour pak.

 

Appears to be aftermarket old style box(short side lights and fiberglass). The liner I see appears to be glued/manufactured/sprayed to the inside of the box(top and bottom), and I'm not seeing a rubber seal on that lid. Don't remember harley building a metal latch/backet for the lid to lock into when you lock the barrel key... they are usually black plastic. On the latch bases, they should be chromed plastic... those appear to be either aluminum or a whitish plastic color. Also, don't remember metal rivets holding the lanyard to the lid either(usually black plastic or dull aluminum.. that appears to be a steel rivets).

Not trying to knock the OP's item, but for that price.... it needs to be Harley verified.

 

From that last post sounds like mine isn't a harley. But better quality since its not all plastic crap componants that break. Metal is better quality and longer lasting than plastic.
