This only fits 2008 and up, right? 2007 and below have a different front mounting to them I believe...

I'm short so I can't say I know for sure, I swapped this one out for a reach seat. It was a very comfortable seat otherwise and I've never really heard of taller riders not liking it. If you're interested shoot me a pm.

You may be right, I know that the frame changed around then so it only makes sence.

Yeah... they changed the seat mount when they went with the 6 gallon tank, which was in 2008.

just my $.02 i just put a 10 cvo SG seat on my 11 SG and im 6'1" 245 and am quite happy
