These are pretty awesome slip ons, not really sure why I still have them and why they aren't on your bike already?
I agree. They sound great. Don't know why anybody wouldn't want them, especially at that price. I ran them on my RKC and loved the sound. I think people tend to shy away from them because VH states that they are
"Designed specifically to address the needs of tuned motors built for high horsepower applications, (hi compression, large displacement, big cams)."
But if you read further you'll see that they also say "as well as stock". I ran them on a bone- stock 103 with no other mods at all and didn't have any problems. And they sound killer when you crack it.
I ran the Hi Output Pro Pipe on my 97 RK. Great sound but on a EG I'm afraid it would probably drowned out the Radio.
I've got UniqCycles handlebar mounted speakers on my RKC and have no problem hearing them at 70. Maybe it's the speakers, which are pretty badazz, but I've even had to turn the volume down and could still hear them just fine. But I believe the Pro Pipe is considerably louder than the slip ons.
