Most us come to this site to get rid of stuff we want to upgrade. It is nice to find parts at a portion of their original price, HOWEVER, at least one member bids on a ton of stuff and then resales it.....ya...I know its not illegal.....but it does suck for all of us trying to find a deal on a certain part. I've tried to resell twice, but not for the purpose you describe. Once I bought a passing lamp setup which I decided to not use. Offered it for less than I paid and still hasn't sold. I'll repost soon. The other I bought a tour pack for my 2011 street glide and it came with the bracket for 08 and older bikes. I sold that for a heck of a good price. I'm not sure who is buying and reselling for profit though...

 

A hint at you might think it is. Then we will know not to buy from them.

 

Talk to the mods with beefs, no need for this on the posts ! They are quite aware of these things, and know how to handle them !

 

Wow that sucks to hear. I visit here ofter, not only find a good deal and get ideas on what I would like to do next, but to also give a fair price to fellow riders that have moved onto or trying to move onto different items.
Times may be tough but that is taking advantage of others.

+100. The guy bought the parts. Seller was not forced to sell. After he bought the parts, his property, his business.
