buyers beware
i bought the hardbags from this thread...form you own opinions
#1. bags were to be complete 09 take off bags less latch covers . i paid 650.00
#2. then was informed no locks either.. no sweat i can live with that
#3. asked to make sure they were well packaged (long trip)
#4. arrived i one big box very little if any wrapping ,lids thrown inside the bags. both lids scraped down to plastic and had to be repainted. I ate it and had them repainted at MY expense!
#5. NO hardware at all just lids and bottoms
#6. after many many p.m's and only after a p.m from admin would he respond and said he would ship the hardware
#7hardware arrived . OLD.BENT,MOSTLY UNUSABLE .another 80.00+ dollars from my pocket for missing pieces..ABSOLUTELY NOT the 09 hardware that came from these bags
#8. finally start assembling bags and find both hinges are bent, both springs broken. to the point the lids wont even come close to closing
#9 again only after repeated p.m's.. i get a response (duh what do you mean)
#10 at this point i am pissed and demand at the very least new hinges or a paypal credit for them 129.00 from zonattis (cheapest available)..in retrospect i should have piled all this sh## back in the box and shipped it back!!!!!
#11 he finally refunded 75.00.. a far cry from what it should be (paint,bent missing hardware and hinges)
I FIND THIS UNACCEPTABLE AND TOTALLY..DISHONEST...not what i have come to expect from members of this forum
