2010 stock 2 into 2 headpipe
#11
Dont know what you dont understand. What I have for sale is a stock head pipe from a 2010 touring model with cat. ALL 2010 TOURING MODELS HAVE THEM FROM THE FACTORY, thus this pipe HAS a catalytic converter. What I stated in the first post is if someone wants to alleviate the heat issue that is common with these 2010 models than they can purchase another stock head pipe and remove the catalytic converter which would be comparable to an aftermarket dual system. If they did this they could keep their stock headpipe unaltered in case the EPA makes it mandatory for all bikes to have a converter in the years to come.
THis is a common accessory done to 2010 models. ALso if someone has a 2010 road glide custom or street glide they could purchase this pipe and convert their 2 into 1 stock exhaust to a 2 into 2 exhaust setup as some people do not want to remove the catalytic converter.
Hope this clears things up for you.

I fully understand the differences between cat and no cat, and what year the cat came into effect on all HD's, but if someone who didn't know better read your first post they might buy your pipe thinking they're removing the cat.
Take a second a read what you wrote, it's not what you "think" you wrote.
Just trying to clear things up for people who might not know better, would save everyone aggravation in the long run.

Read your post, what I said is exactly what you are saying. THEY ARE REMOVING THE CAT not me. To clear this up THE CAT IS STILL IN THIS PIPE, IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE IT TO ALLEVIATE THE HEAT ISSUE ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2010 TOURING BIKES THAN YOU CAN BUY THIS PIPE AND REMOVE THE CAT YOURSELF TO KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL HEADPIPE STOCK OR YOU CAN BUY THIS PIPE TO CONVERT YOUR 2 INTO 1 HEADPIPE FROM A STREET GLIDE OR ROAD GLIDE CUSTOM TO A 2 INTO 2 HEADPIPE FOR A DUAL SYSTEM.
