All kind of Pittsburgh guys on here. Larry may I ask what mufflers you are running and what sounded so bad?

 

I'm running 4" Rineharts. I got them about a month ago. The thing is they sound real good on the stock headers so I don't really know what the deal is. I figured they'd sound even better w/ the TD's. (I had TD's + ovals on my "06 and loved them). I think I'm gonna toy with somes maps and give it some time. I'll get together with "Frenchy" and see what we can do. They sure do seem to run a lot cooler than the stock header (even w/o a cat)

 

I have a Jackpot headpipe to eliminate the cat and Vance and Hines Oval Slip ons. Sounds good but its a little loud.

Where are you guys on Pittsburgh? Im in the North Hills.

Forunately the '09s didn't have a cat in the headpipes (expept for Ca models) :-) so it's not quite as bad as the 2010's & 2011's. These 4" Rineharts are much deeper and more mellow than the ovals I had on the '06. Nice looking pipes too! I live in Plum Boro up behind Oakmont.

 

I have V&H Dresser Duals w/ CFRs on my 09 Ultra and love them. Definitely louder than Larry's 4" Rineharts and I think a tad deeper too.

Sorry but these will only fit '09 when using o2 sensors. They will also fit '10 & '11's if a PCV is used. The o2 ports can be plugged.
