Proper etiquette please....don't hi-jack my thread on a item I am selling to sell your item. Please begin a new post. You will have more luck selling anyhow. Thanks.

 

How is it a hijack if already sold?

 

Im just saying it is bad forum etiquette to post or reference your sale items on another persons post selling their sale items. You will find, that if you post your own listing with pics, you will get more folks inquiring on your item. As this item is sold, I have edited the initial posting marking the item sold. As a user looking to buy an item, once I see the SOLD on the initial posting, I stop reading anymore of the thread. Most folks do the same thing, I am sure.

Think about this from your perspective....
You have an item to sell. It sells or not and another bloke says, "Hey dood, I got one just like it that I want to sell too. However, if there are a couple folks "in line" to get an item in case the original user decides he doesn't want the item or fails to pay promptly, then I suggest sending a PM to the others in wait detailing your specific item.

I am not upset, so to speak, about you posting you item on my thread since my item is sold....but rather, making a few suggestions on how you may list or respond to other that have a need for said item without upsetting the apple-cart.
