Default Vance & Hines 2-1 Pro Pipe 2008 Touring

Selling a Vance and Hines 2-1 Pro Pipe off of my 2008 Ultra. Paid $500 for it 2 years ago, and took it off nearly 2 years ago after using for about 500-1000 miles.

The sound and power increase was awesome, but I just hated the look of the 2-1 and went back to my duals.

The rear cap is powdercoated black, but the pipe looks otherwise exactly like this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VANCE...item5192c4b2b3

I have seen some advertise that it fits only 07-08, but other sellers say it will it will fit 96-08. I can only say that it fit my 08.

There is a small area of blueing on the bottom of the pipe near the rear (although Vance and Hines says that it will not Blue), but it is very hard to see when installed. Aprox 8 inches long.

I am asking $275 + Shipping or best offer (the cheapest one on Ebay is $485 so I thought $300 to be reasonable).

I looked, but could not locate the part number anywhere on the pipe. I assume that it may be printed somewhere underneath the heat shield? If you know where they put it please let me know.

if it helps anyone out on the fitment of this pipe. I just installed a V&H Pro pipe on my 2010 Police Electra Glide that has the 103. A friend of mine had removed it off of his 2000 Road King. We drilled two holes for the oxygen sensors and welded the bungs to the pipe. It bolted right up and I have no complaints at all! At the start of this project I was skeptical but my friend told me the only difference was the internals of my engine. Do keep in mind though, the only mounting brackets on this pipe where the front and rear cyl. and the bracket under the bag....Works for me. Hope that helps. Sometimes I think these companies change part numbers just to sell more products.

There is supposed to be a mount at the transmission also..i wouldn't reccomend running it too long without that because it will put a lot of stress on the exhaust at the cylinders.

Sorry, That was directed towards oldnumber7 and his set-up. Bump for a great exhaust and and great deal! I have the same set-up on my Street Glide and love it.

The blueing is not as bad as it appears in the photo. It appears to be mostly tarnish and is on the bottom of the pipe hardly visible once installed.

$250 + shipping or local pickup in Ft. Worth area
or $270 shipped.
