Well, since I didn't get any answers in my thread (which is in the forum specifically for your products), I ordered the 8" Ultra and got it today.

Here is my question. If the shield is not the correct height, are you going to take it back and swap it for the correct height?

Thanks

If you've got any questions please let us know, because we don't always look at every thread. We sponsor this section but it isn't only for our products.

We want you to get the windshield size that you works best with you; so as long as you keep the plastic wrapping on the shield when you try it out, you can send it back to us for a different size. The reason for that is we can't resell a windshield if the base is scratched.

Hope this was helpful, and please let us know how the new shield works!

Cool.

I'll let you know.

JMO here, but you might want to stop in and check out the threads in your section every so often. It would really help people's views on your customer service

How do you measure your Batwing windshields? From the top of the batwing - or the bottom of the windshield?

We measure all of our windshields from the top of the fairing. Hope this helps.

Ordered mine (6" Classic Dark tint) Thursday and it came Saturday. I'm 6'3". It's way better than the stock Street Glide windshield. I still get quite a bit of air and some buffeting, but didn't expect it to act like a full height shield.

Thumbs down Not a happy customer

I ordered a RK windshield last week. It was suppose to be 21" from the top of the light. I measured mine LRS and it is just shy of 20". It is shorter than my stock and I was looking for the extra inch over stock plus the uplift to help with buffeting. Instead I got more of the same. I sent a email to LRS early yesterday regarding this and they have not responded. Very poor customer support and they don't provide what the advertise. At this point I would not recommend them.
