They are virtually like new as I never even used it with a passenger, although I did bungee a duffel bag to it to go to Tomahawk last fall. I realize that come June that these can be bought new/shipped for $224 from LSHD. Mine are virtually like new and can be mailed out w/in two days (depending when Paypal received) for $195
