I have a Nacelle, handlebar cover and trim ring that I had powder coated black. Also included is a chrome visor style trim ring cover. The nacelle has some minor imperfections (ie scratches) from removing and installing the windshield. The black trim ring has some scratches from installing the visor style cover. The threaded post on the spear is broken off and would need to be replaced or repaired. The entire kit is very usable (except for the spear) and I would give it a fair to good appearance rating. You could very easily use it as is with the addition of a new spear. If you are like me and want perfection, i would send everything off to the powdercoater to be blasted and redone.
If you were to purchase it new from HD it would be about $370.
