Looking for best offer, covers don't fit my bike (88b Twin Cam) sons purchased them for me

Picture does not show correct hole placement, mine are for EVO

You should really keep that especially if your a recipient. I too am a PH recipient and am going to order mine PH timing cover from austin steiner. Especially if your sons had it made for you. Just my 2cents. Carroll out.

 

are both the timing and the derby cover both Purple Heart ?carroll out.

 

Yes both timing cover and derby cover are engraved "Purple Heart" with 24 Cr "Gold" inlaid (the real McCoy not some cheap imitation) same design, on both sides of the engine. One is smaller of course.

It doesn't do me any good with covers that don't match up with my engine?

Yes I'm a two time award recipient (Gold Star) USMC, I want to order the correct covers for my bike and will make up the money that my sons paid and what I get from this sale in order to "get it right" I would never disrespect my sons and the way they choose to honor me, as a matter of fact I want to "fix" it for them as the engraver will not take them back in exchange.

They just ordered them for the wrong bike (engine)

I don't have to have an ingraved Purple Heart to remember.

 

The three hole pattern will fit a Shovel as well.

I was lucky that I never qualified for the PH. Was there when three of my guys got them, one each on three seperate convoys. One of them rides a FLH Shovel.
