for my taste right now they were just a lil loud other people think they are too quiet, I just got used to stock sound they have a mellow deep rumble

 

Will they fit an 09 ultra, If so then I guess I am second in line.

A word to the wise

buy the insurance

insist on the insurance

don't let the item be shipped without the insurance

even if you think the seller is getting the insurance because he charged you the cost of the insurance make sure you have the insurance

Also be aware that if you use PayPal, they will not do anything to resolve a problem with items that are damaged in shipment. Unlike a regular credit card, you do not have chargeback rights. PayPal will only help you if the item does not arrive at all.

Also, I would like to point out that leoHD was very courteous during the sales portion of this transaction. He was helpful, gave me some tips on installation, etc. I'm just disappointed that it's going to cost me another $160 or so to get a replacement heat shield and I think it's lame that he's unwilling to take any responsibility for the damage to this item.

 

FYI,these pipes WILL NOT fit an 09!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't believe me, contact V&H

 

I actually just called them, after your post. You're right. Although the current Monster Ovals do fit the older applications, the former MOs do not fit the '09s. Contrary to the listing, the MOs sold here will not fit the '09.

Just one more way in which this turns out to be a very bad transaction for me.
