If you go under 'Edit Options' in your user CP you can enable to get email when someone sends you a private message, so you can get an alert to your phone when someone pm's you!

 

thanks, I'd rather not though cause I'd have to turn it back off later on or my phone would be getting email vibrations off the hook. I use to have it enabled for every forum I'm on and it gets to be a pain when I'm at work and I have to stop every 5 minutes cause I think my phones ringing when it fact it's just a random email.
