if you don't have any luck finding it in black, as they're readily available in chrome, you can dip them in muriatic acid for a few minutes or get them bead blasted, safer bead blasting too, and then get them powdercoated if this helps. they're i think 25 bux at harley for the new chrome ones. they really do work nice. i've found them in used motorcycle parts bins, sorta like harley junkyard items. good luck.
