I recently purchased an 8" dark tint Clearview windshield for my 09 Ultra. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this shield. I took my bike out for a brief ride yesterday and realized that the shield is just a hair to tall for me. I am 5'5" and I want to look over the shield. I guess testing it in the garage was a bad idea. I'm going to have to go with the 6 1/2" shield. I normally would be able to return the shield, but I took of the protective covering because I thought this was going to work. I bought the shield for $117.00 ($89 for the shield, $10 for the tint and $18 for shipping.) I am willing to sale this shield for $89 and I will take care of shipping anywhere in the U.S. Please ask if you have any questions.

Would you consider a trade for a 61/2 solid black clearview with recurve? Does your 8" have the recurve?

 

Thanks, but I don't care for the solid black. I know there will be times that I will have to look through the top of the shield.

Yes. This shield does have the recurve. I had a recurve shield on my road king and loved it. I could easily see over the shield and still get great wind protection.
