Default FS: 09' Sundowner seat w/ Backrest & Bracket

It is a like new Sundowner Deep Bucket Seat (HD 52093-08, Retail $300) with the rider back rest (HD 52900-09, Retail $210) and back rest bracket (HD 52589-09, Retail $30) for sale. These fit any touring Model 08’ or 09’. These do have the Street Glide 3 rib detail, but will go with any bike. My wife and I like the comfort of the seat a lot, but I do mostly solo riding and I want to change to a solo seat with a add on pillion only when needed. You know how it is to always change your mind about things

I will sell the whole set for $350 (I paid $540 plus tax from my local dealer).

Do you have a 09 SG or one of the other Touring models?

I have an '08 RKC (check out my add for RKC leather bags to see it). You cannot use the stock RKC seat when you switch to hard bags because it rubs the paint off the bags (ask me how I know). You have to get a stock seat off another touring bike or go aftermarket.

I checked out your pix with the one soft and one hard bag. I'm sure my seat fits your bike, but the area touching the hard bag is strange. The HD catalog indicates that my seat fits your bike, but is that with a different set of bags? You can see from my pix that mine extends out in the general area as well. I'm sure you know what you are doing, but I thought I would ask.
Thx,
Kregg

The RKC bags are not as tall as the hard bags an they are a different shape. The emblem in the RKC seat will rub the inside of the lid on the hardbag causing the paint to come off. Simply switching to a different Touring seat remedies that problem. Right now I have a SG seat on the bike and it works/fits perfectly. Other seats would work as well.....just not one specifically designed for the RKC.

Make sense?
