Is there an additional ON/OFF switch or wire harness required or does it auto sense when to come on and off?

You take it to the dealer & they will flash it and turn it on. It uses the sensors on the motor to turn it on/off. . Or if you have the Dynojet Power Vision, you can turn it on using that.
