I normally don't comment on "for sale" items, but since you posted this is the general Rushmore section I will add a comment......
If someone wants one, they can buy a brand new one from J&P cycles for $739.00...... plus free shipping....

J&P price of $739 is heated “without” rider backrest (all out of stock by the way)…. the J&P price for a heated Road Sofa “with” Rider backrest = $962 - $987 + tax and s&h……many of the iterations of the Road Sofa are “out of stock” at J&P
Private party Shipping of large bulky items like 2-up motorcycle seats is expensive these days…..I see the OP is in Delaware, so shipping this seat out of New England will likely be $200 as he noted
Good Luck everyone

Saddlemen LS Standard Reach RoadSofa w/ Backrest
Please see attached pics. I was not able to reply prior due to not having enough post. Sorry I am new to the thread. For those stating you can buy this for $739, brand new. Not Happening.. If your interested let me know. I'd rather not ship due to its weight and cost. Seat is in perfect condition, no rips, no stains.

My stock seat has an adjustable backrest. If I replace my seat with your seat w/backrest, does the backrest fit into my current holder - or, do I have to replace my current backrest kit?
Since you added the mustang seat, did you get the one with a backrest - and, did you have to replace your original seat backrest kit?

The Saddlemen seat with RIDER backrest, has the rider backrest support built into the seat, so you can remove the rider backrest from the seat and ride without, OR when you remove the seat from the bike, the rider backrest is attached within the seat-pan, and comes off the bike with the seat (exactly like many Mustang and other seat configurations) - there is no added bracket for the rider backrest under the Saddlemen seat attached to the bike, like there is with an oem seat and rider backrest setup.
(I have the un-heated version of the same Saddlemen Lattice Stitched 2-up Seat with Rider backrest)

NO, your stock seat RIDER backrest will NOT work with the Saddlemen Seat. If you were to go this route with the Saddlemen seat with Rider backrest, you would remove your oem seat and all backrest brackets for that as well.

Our riding season is almost over - so, will do this while the bike is parked in the garage over the winter. Hopefully, you like your Saddleman seat. Did you change the passenger backrest to make it match or does it look OK this way?
