Personally I don't believe for minute that towing something with the bike caused his issue. MoCo is just using fine print to get out of paying. If they didn't see the hitch it would have been covered. Just my opinion

I agree it is a risk we take when we do stuff like this but your dealer could have easily helped you out on this one, I mean it’s not like you put a turbo or something on it, if that were the case then I would have zero problems eating it but a hitch??? I know in the end it’s on you, just saying

You are 100% correct
I just happened to have a piston break right after the hitch install. The dealer has helped me out on labor and motor cost as they didn't agree with corporate.
