Too bad the mount sold, I've been looking to do this to my back for at least 2 years but just never pulled the trigger. If you don't mind me tapping into your expertise, was there a reason you purchased the parts seperately rather than just buying the whole kit? It appears as though the kit is quite a bit cheaper at around 470 bucks. Are there things that I need in addition to kit? Sorry to hijack the thread, just curious. Also, if for some reason the sale falls through, I'd probably take all 3 components as a package.

 

I did buy the whole kit with the intent of helping my son make his tour-pak removable. He ended up trading his bike and I took the license plate relocation bracket and used it with the plan to sale off the rest of the parts to recover some of the cost paid out for the kit. The whole kit costs $580.

The kit covers everything. You don't need anything else. I'm offering the tour-pak mount and the saddlebag lights (already sold the docking hardware). To complete the install you would need 4 point docking hardware, a license plate relocation mount and an antenna relocation mount (or a fairing mounted hidden antenna).

With some patience and diligence it can be cheaper. Maybe open another post for discussion. :-)
