I am 6’0” and 250 and I had the seat on my 2018 Road Glide CVO and my 2020 Trike and it was fine for me, very comfortable seat.

 

Is the backrest removable? if so is there a filler piece for the notch?

 

The backrest is not removable as far as I can see.
