Well, it’s the chrome digital oil temperature & oil level dipstick. Part # 62700180. Fits M8 MY’17 and above Touring bikes...except for Trike. You install it in place of the OEM oil dipstick. Press the button, and voila! It displays the oil temperature accurately.

But wait...you say! Doesn’t it also display oil level? . Well yeah, it’s supposed to. It doesn’t reliably display oil level. It only displays the oil level if you remove it, wipe it off, reinstall it, and press the button. Kind of bizarre. But, the temp works well, as it’s supposed to.
