Default Mustang Super Touring Seat 08-20 Touring Models

(Taken from the website directly)

Fitment: Harley-Davidson: Road King '08-'20, Street Glide '08-'20, Electra Glide '08-'20, Road Glide '08-'20

Mustang's "Super" comfortable 17" wide solo sits the driver 1.25" further back than the stock seat and is available with or without a fully adjustable and easily removable driver backrest. Pair with an 8.5" or 11" passenger seat, or a recessed 13.5" passenger seat for comfortable 2-up riding. Recessed passenger seats are required for use with the available built-in driver backrest, while regular passenger seats extend forward for additional rider back support on solos without the driver backrest. Choice of plain, chrome studs or black pearl-centered studs. Solo comes complete with chrome hardware (78032) and matching mini fender bib (78064).

Backordered - Due to high demand, orders placed today will ship in approximately 6-8 weeks.

Price: $359.99

My 2 cents:

I love this seat out of all the ones I've tried. It's Super-comfortable due to full bucket, 17" wide solo seat. For those that are going to ask, it sits the driver 1.25" further back than the stock seat. The reason I'm selling is, I'm 6'4 and it doesn't sit me back far enough, lol. I wish they made one 3" back, but they don't. I have a local place that is going to make a custom seat for me. My loss, your gain. Less than a 1,000 on the seat, Saved whoever gets it the "break-in" period.

Looking to get $250 plus shipping for the seat, I can do $250 even in person. Otherwise, you can shoot me an offer, but the first "I'll take it", gets it.

It doesn't raise you, it just moves you back 1.75". I'm 6'4, so I'm on the taller side, and personally, I'm not a fan of any seat that raises me. I chose this seat because I wanted to sit as low into the bike as I could, without sacrificing comfort, such as a low profile seat that puts me on the frame with every bump. The higher I sit on a bike, the less control I have over it, the same dynamics as the bore axis (height over bore) of a gun, it also throws off balance and changes the handling. There is a reason performance cars sit lower to the ground. Also, a higher seat typically means a different windshield, as the top of it will no longer reside at the bridge of the nose, which is ideal wind deflection. I would rather push or adjust my controls (recommend Tall Boy Cycles, if you're tall like me) out more than raising my seat. Just my two cents, others experience may vary. Sorry to give an elongated answer to such a simple question, just wanted to pass down any knowledge I can for anyone that maybe didn't know.

I have the same seat and it is comfortable and gives me better legroom. Did you switch bars and if so, which ones and did you have to extend wiring? Thanks.
