Pro-Action 14" Shocks w/1" Lowering Block
Bought these through DK Customs as a Kit, shocks and lowering blocks. Basically your bike sits at a regular 13" ride height but you get the extra travel from the 14"
I ran them on my 17 Road King Specials mostly 2-up.
They are setup for 250lb rider and 200lb passenger/luggage, we're both on the heavier side so the extra travel was appreciated
If you run these with a standard backrest you will have clearance issues, I ended up clearancing my back rest frame (can include it but it has no mounting hardware, it's just the frame and will require a few more bucks for shipping)
I talked to George at Pro-Action about a year ago and he assured me that is just cosmetic damage and wouldn't hurt the performance of the shock. I actually contacted him again a week or so ago to have them service with new tops and he said it would be about $150. I've since decided to sell the bike (again) and as such slowly taking things off and selling them.
I don't ride 2-up anymore as my wife got her own trike so these are not needed anymore.
I have about 20K on them and they've been great. In my opinion they are the best bang for your buck and Pro-Actions customer service is fantastic.
It's possible these could work on a trike but you'd need to talk to George at Pro-Action to verify.
$450 shipped for shocks and lowering kit, $475 if you want the backrest frame. I think this is a fair price considering the mileage and cosmetic damage, it's half the price of new.

[QUOTE=eglinski;19374725]Do you know if these are the same "Pro-action" 14" shocks that DK Custom's sells for trikes?[/QUOTE
Depends on the spring rating, usually PA color codes to identify, then you'd have to as George or DK.
