My wife bought these for me recently from our nearest Harley dealer, but I just don't use it like I thought I would. They were on my trike for 2 round trips to work and back home - 80 miles total. They are like new and everything is there with installation instructions.

Did you try returning them to the Dealership ?
The backrest pad does not look right .

 

The backrest looked fine and worked normal while it was on my trike. I never bothered with adjusting it though.

I'm interested ... but I'll be honest, the backrest looks gimpy with the wrinkles on the side. How flexible are you on pricing?

 

It's a brand new Harley smooth rider backrest pad # 52914-09A that I paid $190 for at Rattlesnake Mtn Harley in Kennewick Washington.

It's only been on my trike for 80 miles, which equates to 80 minutes at 60mph, which is the speed limit on the highway from my house to work and back.

At $170 shipped, and with shipping costs being around $20, I'm already losing $85 as it is.

 

I understand ... I would be buying it expecting to have to have it recovered. The wrinkles in the 4 corners are not normal and don't look right. Someone else also commented on that. I am interested, but please understand my position.
