A quick update, the backrest and mount have been sold, only the seat is available.

I paid him for it on the 7th I am still waiting for him to ship it. He says he is busy and has shipped it. I am starting to think this is the second seat I paid for that I will never see.

Have him give you a tracking number.
I do hope you went with PayPal and not Friends or Gift.

 

I have been sending him messages for a week now asking for a tracking #. He said he shipped it out and would send me the tracking #. The other messages I got no response to. He told me he could only do venmo. So I am at the point of fealing that I am screwed on this deal. I get notices from fedex and ups as soon as anything with my address is on the way to me.

 

He could have sent it USPS also. I'll see if I can get an answer from him.
I'm not familiar with Venmo. Doesn't PayPal handle that ?

 

venmo is basically PayPal friends and family, no buyer or seller protection whatsoever.

 

Looks like you may have got screwed again. May just be me but I would’ve immediately been out on the deal if he would only take Venmo. Specially for that amount of money and no buyer protection. PayPal is to easy to set up.

 

This person works 4 days and then off three. Most likely long hours also. He did answer my PM, and said he has shipped it via USPS. He intended to give the tracking number this evening when he got home. But he doesn't get home until 10:30pm EST. I think he said.
I think you will be ok on this deal, but be patient. USPS isn't the fastest service lately ! I've had things take 3 weeks to come out of Calif. to Idaho ! It depends on the service selected. Fast gets expensive !
