Definitely no road rash. I took them off because I liked the cleaner look of not having them. Probably had them on the bike for maybe 4-5 years before I took them off. They were wrapped in news paper until I unpacked them to take pictures. Other than that, just normal wear but I'd say they're pretty clean.
