Default 2008 CVO Road King Anniversary Leather Saddlebags

I have decided to go with stretched bags on my next project, so I will be selling these Original Stock CVO Road King Anniversary bags. They are a one year only bag, that only came on the 2008 CVO Road King models, BUT, will fit 1993 - 2013 Touring bikes. They have the push button latches, like the Road King Custom, not buckles and straps, but they have chrome trim and custom leather top designs available only on these bags for this year only. They are not perfect, but are in excellent shape for 12+ year old bags. I have kept leather conditioner on them, but, as you can see, there are a few scuffs on them from age, and the usual wear spots where the lids rub the lower section, and spots where the lower rails rub the underneath.
There are a couple sets on ebay, one almost as nice as mine, with a current bid of 650 dollars, and shipping of 48 dollars. There is also another set for 599, no bids, which are about the same. I also see them for about 550, plus shipping every once in a while, and there was an NOS set for 800 dollars a while back.
All this being said, I will take $500.00 shipped for mine, and I except paypal. There are plenty of pictures, so please look at them close, and I am sure someone might want more pics, so just let me know.
Thanks,
Cricket

I have an 08 cvo road king with those bags. The P.O. tipped it over in his garage and scraped the chrome trim...that trim piece is 250 bucks!!! I guess the moral of my story is that's good deal lol....glwts

I got one question I need to answer.
Someone asked me why I sliced the bottoms of the bags with an "X" in several places. Those are factory drain locations corresponding with the drain holes in the bags plastic "form", so they are original to all of these types of bags.
Thanks for asking, and letting me clear any concerns.

Good luck with the sale.

I did the stretched bags on my 08CVO about 4 years ago. Totally changed the look of the bike. Getting them painted was a bit of a hassle. No CVO paint codes from the mother ship. Cobalt Blue with lots of flake. Had them done by Dave Perowitz. Took 3+ months and multiple try's before I got them back. It was done over the winter months and bike was in hibernation. Took off the front fender for them to use as reference Holding on to the factory bags but not quite sure why lol

Weekend Bump, and an update;
FREE shipping is for the lower 48 states - of the U.S.A. I would have to get a quote to Canada, or AK and HI.
Thanks,
Cricket
