It's black. It mounts in the front like a stock seat does and the back uses the existing mounting bolts on the fender, which wind up hidden under the back of the seat.

I will try to get a photo posted later. It mounts the same as all touring seats. The mounting tongue on the bike slips into the bracket in the seat. And, the seat is still available.

 

How is it height and width-wise, as compared to a stock M8 touring seat? I could use more comfort on my 2019 FLHXS but don't want to go any higher - I'm already tip-toeing!

Hey John - I honestly can't tell you. I have not mounted it on my bike or sat on it. This is as advertised - new in box and never used. I'd hate to give you inaccurate info. It appears to be similar to the stock seat in depth/height but that's just from eyeballing it. Maybe their customer service could give you a read on it.
