I think I had this on my 07 flhx and then purchased the bracket to make it fit my 2012 flhx. So i think this will fit both 08- 19 and 97-08. I added a notch to the post so the backrest can drop down a bit further than originally.

Does this replace the stock backrest bracket? As in, can this be used with the stock seat? If so, I may be interested.

 

Not sure if you can answer this but I'm wondering if this will fit with a mustang solo. I have it on my 08 Road King and have been looking for a back rest.
