Will this work for a 14+ boom box ?

 

I'm not sure please check with your local dealer.

It would mount similar to a street glide as the bracket mounts between the bag and fender.

 

What was it bought for. The part number is not helping me find if it fits 14 + if it was not bought for 14 + it will not work for it

 

You should check with a dealer as suggested they are always your best source for fitment questions.

It was bought for a 2009 FLHTCUSE (came with the MOCO detachable hardware kit but I went with a hidden antennae instead).
