I ordered this seat custom made to match my ‘19 CVO Mako RG. Mustang sent me 3 red thread samples that I used to compair to the stock HD seat and TP pad and this matches perfectly. I used the seat for about 2,000 miles and the wife rode on the passenger pad 1 time for about 100 miles. The entire set up cost me just under $1,000 and is in like new condition.
The only signs of wear are what is expected. There is a small dimple on the passenger seat where the rider backrest adjustment bolt touches it, this is why Mustang added an additional layer of protection in this area. Where you bolt the rider and passenger seat to the bike there are some very fine scratches from mounting it. The chrome mounting bracket on the rider backrest has some very fine scratches from putting it into the mounting slot. None of these will be seen when it is installed, looks new.

The rider seat is the Super Touring Solo 79446 with rider backrest - designed to set you back 1.75” from stock. Stock being more like the position of an Ultra Classic Seat. This seat will be very similar to the stock position of a SG or RG and set you back just a little from that stock position.
The passenger seat is the 13.5” seat
This is a very nice and comfortable set up. The only reason I am selling it is I have herniated disk and I needed something to move me a little closer to the bars and a more upright riding position. I have had several Mustang seats in the past and they all seem to be of very good quality and this one is no exception.
