I’ve got an essentially new set of genuine Harley-Davidson Fork Mounted Wind Deflectors for sale, HD Part Number 57400146A.I bought these new and installed them on my 2014 FLHR Road King recently. My RK has lower fairings, and with fork deflectors mounted in their forward-most position, I had ample clearance with the bars turned each way. It was necessary to move the turn signals to their forward-mounted slot, however. During the install, I sandwiched the deflectors between thin brass washers before mounting them to my fork studs in order to avoid harming the chrome finish.These only have about 10 miles on them.I was actually surprised at the improvement to the air turbulence coming up from the underneath of the windshield and lower fairings.Problem is, I just don’t think I could get used to the look.The geometry actually flowed/tapered really well from the deflectors to the windshield and didn’t stand out horribly.But the look just wasn’t for me.So I carefully removed the deflectors, polished them with a clean towel and re-packaged them in the original bubble wrap and box with all of the original packaging and instructions.These have not been modified or mishandled in any way.If you’re looking for more wind protection, these are a definitely a functional addition and you can save a couple of bucks too. $79 shipped to the lower 48.
