I've decided to sell my Windsplitter and Freedom shield, together.

I bought the Windsplitter, rode to work and home then pulled it off. I ordered a 20" CVO Freedom Shield and have been running the Freedom Shield ever since.

Windsplitter is as close to new as possible, Freedom Shield has a tad over 1000 miles on it. Quality of the Freedom Shield is awesome, much thicker than anything else out there and works well.

I had planned to purchase another set of gussets so I could quick swap the windshields but I just liked the coverage of the Freedom so left it on.

I did have the mounting frame powder coated black to match my RKS.

How’s the wind protection with the Freedom shield in comparison to the vented wind-splitter?

 

Million times better.

Personally I think the windsplitter sucks and is just for looks. I used it for 1 trip to and from work and pulled it.

I'm 6' 1" so might be better for smaller riders but not for me.
