How does that work? Isn’t length static? I.e. eye to eye length?

Yes static- 12” on a special 13” on std. same for sg/sgs and limted/limited low

these ride better than the HD 12”- haven’t rode the 13” to compare, but travel will be similar due to increases stroke on the Ohlins.

Nope, I’m just an idiot. I read it wrong. I thought you were saying that the OP’s shocks were 12” on one model and 13” on another lol.

I contacted Howard about servicing the shocks.

He said he is too busy servicing original owners shocks and wouldn't be able to sedrvice these for a long time

Never did find out what the cost would be either

Ohlins has a service department. About a year ago I think they charged ~$90 a shock. Ohlins can also recommend other service vendors for you. Whoever buys these should put some miles on them and make sure they are setup the way you want. When they are rebuilt, they can be revalved and/or resprung as needed.

Hm yeah I'm considering these since me and my girl are real close to the same weight, but I'm not two-up 70% and no tour pak. Wonder how rough the ride would be when I'm solo.

Also don't want to lower it any.

Ride solo vs my stock shocks on my Low was fine. Just made a small preload adjustment if I was spending more solo time on the bike.
