Default 100th anniversary fender medallion placement

My bike is still at the dealer (4 months riding lost) for a collision repair - cosmetic and crash bars, lights. Lots of little stuff.
They sent parts to a Harley factory painter who turned around a beautiful job in original 100th anniversary scheme.

I stopped in to see the bike and they had put he front fender medallion on just the day before. Here's a picture of the placement. What's your opinion?

Wrong forum, but it looks too close to the forks. Google "2003 100th Anniversary Electra Glide" and you'll find a few photos to compare.

Edit - Here are a couple I found:

Thank you for your replies. I really appreciate it. I would like to get a few more helpful replies and then I will post a picture of the medallion placement before the bike was repainted and the dealer placed the medallion. BTW, the bike has 83,00 miles on it now. It has a six speed screaming eagle transmission, new heads, 200 watt hog-tunes amp, new lower fairings with the new-style vents. Lots of other goodies, but I try to keep it tasteful.

You might ask why I had the dealer do it. It's because it was all part of a collision repair. I would have done it myself or had the painter do it. The dealer handled everything, including removing all the parts to send to the painter. For me, it was no-touch. The dealer found the painter through the insurance company. The painter did a beautiful job. He worked 27 years for Harley-Davidson in their York PA plant.

After a little bit, I will post the pictures of the medallion position on my bike before the dealer replace it. For now, here's a teaser.

It's positioned too far back on the fender. Look at these pics..

He totally screwed up. You can see the proper placement on my '03. Almost touching the fender light.

I was told from the original owner of my bike, when he ordered it, it came in with the fender badge with the keys and the dealership put it on, and he didn't want it on there. That makes sense why some are in different places.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the insight.

People can put it in different places, close to the fender tip or further back, even if the instructions coming with the medallion recommend to mount it 1 3/4" from the back edge of the fender trim or fender light trim.
See below.
