Is it covered by the backrest pad?

 

yes sir. I just don't want any surprises, your paying 800 and it's not cheap to ship.
HD should put felt on underside of pad IMO.

I am not concerned about a smudge that is hidden under the backrest as I, nor anyone else will see it. But if you could do me a favor and wrap it in a soft clean cotton cloth ....actually a large t-shirt would be perfect to protect the finish.. then bubble wrap or those foam peanuts.. You have a nice product and I would love you receive it in the same condition. Thank you in advance, Gamma~

Not sure if it's possible with FEdEx, but I've had to change my delivery to address before online by creating an UPS account. Wouldn't want someone to redirect your package with the posted tracking number
