What didn't you like about them?

 

The sound was too loud.

 

How loud would you say they are? I currently have vance and hines twin slash oval mufflers and most of the time they don't seem much louder than stock. I am looking for some replacement mufflers with more rumble but don't want them to be too loud.

 

I currently have a set and I really like the sound. Deeper rumble but not too loud. All of my riding partners have complimented the sound...

 

There are some YouTube links with the CFRs for sound comparison. I think they sound good -- if the knock-offs are close to that.

 

I had some older V&H that had no sound....lol
I bought these because of the price. The sound is different......hard to describe.
Better that the older V&H but not as good as my 4 inch Rineharts.
I guess it depends on how picky you are.

I have a buddy who's DNA pipes sound better than my Rineharts, They sounded so much better that I picked up a set to replace my Rineharts !!!! The quality isn't there on the DNA pipes, I could see high and low spots in the chrome when I gave them a close inspection but they sound BADASS !!!! Considering that you can't see that much of the pipe, they are well worth $200.00 great sound for a small price.

 

Would these fit 2011 SG? Sorry, I have no idea. If so, my offer is $110. Thanks.
