Just curious, was it uncomfortable, or what? I have a '17 RGU and looking for a better seat.

BTW, I'm 6'1", so not looking for a low seat.

Brad,

The seat is definitely lower due to the narrow nose. Because your taller it may not be a great choice because it seems to push me about an inch closer to tank.

It is comfortable for sure but firmer than stock. May be better after break-in.

I saw another Mustang super touring seat on here that you may like better.

The Mustang website will give you all specs. #76030

Let me know thanks.

12FLHXS,
Thanks for the open and honest response. It's a great looking seat, but can't take the chance that it will lower me any more than the stock seat.

Best of luck selling!

Frame heights have risen over the years, so depending on the year the seat height will be different. On an 09 it's about an inch lower than on a 16.

Thanks for the info. My bike is a '17 RGU. The OP indicated that his seat may be lower than my stock. Any input would be helpful, as I like the looks of the seat is selling.

Thanks,
Brad

I have this seat and love it. Bump for a great product. Mustang seats do start out harder, but soften as you ride them. By the time you are 50 miles into the trip they are great form fitting and all day comfortable. I've run mustang seats on all my bikes.

Hey, Sturgis,
Thanks for the feedback.

Do you think a sport seat will look odd if I leave the tour pack on? It is detachable, so thought I could swap seats back to stock when running the tour pack if it looks goofy.
